As a member of Gibsons Emergency Response Team I was honored to be part of Tim Jones Memorial on Saturday. Gibsons, Salvation Army Community Crisis Response Unit was deployed to both honor Tim Jones and serve coffee, tea, hot chocolate, water and light snacks to the mourners. Additionally, several S.A. Chaplain's were available to console members of his community whom required pastoral care.
Community Memorial Event Photography is of Jones's cremated remains that travelled inside an ambulance, escorted by search and rescue volunteers, bagpipe players, and an honour guard of police, paramedics, firemen, military personnel and emergency responders including The Salvation Army CCR units at Centennial Theatre screen area.
