Canada Day events ran all day at Winegarden Waterfront Park. Rotarian Carol Hickman served as the July 1 2012 Celebration Coordinator. Carol spends many hours making The Canada Day event run smoothly. At the July 1 celebration Rotarians cooked burgers and franks with Gibsons Rotarian Chefs Mark Nielsen, Reid, Chris, Bill and Dave Longman and John Kavanagh. Gibsons Salvation Army officer and Rotarian Major Sandra Rousell, supervised the bouncing castle a must for the younger children.
